Living With Cancer Spring Series

The Cape Cod Healthcare Survivorship Program has announced its Living With Cancer Spring 2013 Series. The four-week series provides those living with cancer with up-to-date health information, as well as strategies to manage symptoms and maintain a good quality of life.
All four of the programs will be held from 2:30 to 4 p.m. in the Lorusso Board Room at Cape Cod Hospital’s Mugar Wing on Bayview Street in Hyannis.
The Living With Cancer Spring Series dates and topics are:
• March 19 – Introduction to the Series/Managing Symptoms Along the Way: Kathleen Dietz-Lovett, MA, MS, ANP, AOCN; Oncology Nurse Practitioner, Davenport –Mugar Cancer Center, CCH
• March 26 – Nutrition and Healthy Eating When You Have Cancer: Patricia Vasconcellos, RD,CDE, LDN; private practice Registered Dietician
• April 2 – Oncology Rehabilitation and Keeping Active: Rosalyn Conway, OT, and Joyce Geissler, OT; CCH Outpatient Rehabilitation Services
• April 9 – Survivorship and the World Beyond Cancer: Jeffrey A. Gaudet, LICSW, OSW-C; Cape Cod Healthcare Survivorship Program Manager
