JML Care Center Nationally Recognized as Leader in Nursing Home Care
HYANNIS, MA (January 5, 2022) JML Care Center recently earned the U.S. News & World Report designation of Best Nursing Home for 2021-22 in their annual review of skilled nursing facilities.
JML Care Center earned this recognition through U.S. News & World Report’s evaluation of more than 15,000 nursing homes nationwide and is among the elite 13 percent of skilled nursing facilities that received a “High Performing” rating for long-term care and short-term rehabilitation. The national accolade is given only to those homes that satisfy U.S. News’ assessment of key services and consistent performance in quality and safety measures.
The Falmouth-based nursing home serves a broad range of medical needs, including intensive rehabilitation following cardiac surgery or stroke and post-hospital care for orthopedic patients in addition to long-term skilled nursing. The center offers personalized treatment plans and improved outcomes.
Now in its 12th year, the U.S. News Best Nursing Homes ratings and profiles offer comprehensive information about quality of care, COVID-19 vaccination requirements for residents and staff, flu and pneumonia vaccination rates, and infection control violations listed on the resident safety summary.
The ratings of best long-term care facility include data on staffing, success in preventing ER visits and pneumonia vaccination rates. The short-term care rating incorporates quality measures, including consistency of registered nurse staffing and fall preventions.

JML is supported by the full resources of Cape Cod Healthcare, including Falmouth Hospital and Cape Cod Healthcare physical/occupational therapists, and provides inpatient hospice services through the Visiting Nurse Association of Cape Cod. The nationally recognized care team works closely with CCHC physicians and advance practice clinicians, who often have direct contact with patients staying at JML. In addition, the center is located on the Falmouth Hospital campus, which allows convenient access to exceptional care.
