Carter Hunt MBA, MSPT
Chief Executive Officer of Falmouth Hospital
Carter Hunt, MBA, MSPT was named Chief Executive Officer of Falmouth Hospital in 2020. He joins the Falmouth Hospital leadership team from within Cape Cod Healthcare, where he had served as Administrator of Specialty and Hospital Based Practices.
Mr. Hunt has held several roles at CCHC since 2014, providing operational oversight for outpatient specialty practices for the Medical Affiliates of Cape Cod (MACC) and hospital based physician practices for Cape Cod Hospital. He also served as the Ambulatory Advisory Group lead for Cape Cod Healthcare’s implementation of Epic.
Prior to joining Cape Cod Healthcare, Mr. Hunt served as Vice President of Clinical Services for Southcoast Health System based in New Bedford, MA, where he oversaw surgical and neuroscience services, Southcoast physician practices, rehabilitation, wound care and occupational medicine departments. He has held clinical operations leadership roles at Danbury Health System in Danbury, CT; Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA and PRO Physical Therapy in Wilmington, DE. Carter is also a licensed Physical Therapist.
Carter holds an MBA from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst; an MS in Physical Therapy from the Institute for Physical Therapy Education at Widener University; and a BA in Biology from Yale University.
