Emergency Services
If you should need emergency medical services, you want the right care at the right time from the right team of healthcare providers.
State-of-the-art emergency centers
The Emergency Center at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis and the Yawkey Emergency Center at Falmouth Hospital are new, modern, state-of-the-art facilities that feature customized patient care based on the level of service needed, severity of condition, age of the patient and specialty involved. Each center has private patient rooms in pod settings, meaning patients receive individualized care by a specific team of caregivers.
Specialized emergency medicine teams
Our emergency centers give you access to board-certified emergency medicine physicians and other specialists, ER- trained nurses and staff, sophisticated testing labs and the latest technology. If your condition requires admission to the hospital, we can make a seamless transition to continue your care. Additionally, we partner with Boston hospitals should trauma care require a transfer.

Lightkeepers support
Members of Lightkeepers a donor-centered program of the Cape Cod Healthcare Foundation, can receive personal assistance during an emergency situation. If you are a donor to the Lightkeepers program and should you or a family member require immediate medical attention, a Lightkeepers Liaison will come to either of our emergency centers at Cape Cod Hospital or Falmouth Hospital, to offer support, guidance and assistance. This is a service that brings peace of mind to our benefactors and their families, and just one aspect of how the Lightkeepers program helps donors navigate their Cape Cod Healthcare experiences.
