In our mission to coordinate and deliver the highest-quality care, Cape Cod Healthcare provides Oncology Financial Navigators to work exclusively with patients who are facing cancer treatment, to counsel them on the financial considerations of their medical care plan.

How Can Oncology Finance Help Me?

The Oncology Finance Manager will review the clinician’s course of treatment alongside your individual health insurance plan to determine a clear picture of coverage. From there your advisor will:

Counsel you appropriately regarding which services are covered by your specific insurance and those that would fall outside the scope of coverage as an out-of-pocket cost
Provide you and your designated loved ones with the information needed to make the best financial decisions regarding your care

Personal Payment Plans and Access to Funding

Our Oncology Finance Manager can also help develop a payment plan for patients, if needed. And for qualified patients, will seek out alternative sources of funding from charitable, philanthropic and other institutions.
