What Diseases are Detected Using FibroScan®?
FibroScan® is used to detect diseases or conditions of the liver such as:
- Chronic Hepatic viral diseases - Hepatitis B and C
- Metabolic Diseases affecting the liver - Diabetes and NAFLD (non-alcoholic fibrotic liver disease)
- Alcoholic Liver Disease
- Abnormal LFT (liver function tests)
