Our personalized Occupational Therapy treatments include:

  • Motor coordination
  • Perceptual motor skills
  • Visual and sensory skills
  • Range of motion and strength
  • Cognitive retention
  • Use of adaptive equipment

Occupational Therapy treatments include:

Hand Therapy

Hand therapy treatment restores function to the hand after injury, surgery or for chronic conditions like arthritis.

Lymphedema Management

Lymphedema is swelling, usually in arms or legs, caused by blockage in your lymphatic system. Patients, particularly those who have undergone lymph node removal during breast cancer are at risk for developing this condition. Early identification can provide relief and improve range of movement for patients.

Aquatic Therapy Classes

Aquatic Therapy is designed to improve your abilities through exercise when mobility, severe pain or weakness prevents other therapies or weight-bearing exercise is restricted. Swimming pool therapy takes advantage of water’s unique benefits: buoyancy (the resistance required to move in water) and hydrostatic pressure (the pressure exerted on you while standing in water.)

Benefits of Aquatic Therapy include:

  • Increasing muscle strength and endurance
  • Decreasing swelling
  • Lessening muscle spasms and promoting relaxation
  • Increasing circulation
  • Increasing balance and coordination

Among the conditions we treat are:

  • Lupus
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Pulmonary disease
  • Post-surgical physical therapy with weight restrictions
