Medical Oncologist (Hyannis)

Cape Cod Healthcare is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible oncologist/hematologist to join its well-established oncology team in Hyannis, Massachusetts.

This team includes:

  • Six Board Certified medical oncologists/hematologists
  • Support staff of eight RNs
  • Five medical assistants and three NPs who share partial call duties and staff the inpatient service in addition to the outpatient clinic.
  • The center is developing a robust clinical trials program, which will soon include two dedicated staff with plans to increase to three.
  • Hospitalists admit patients

Our healthcare system’s cancer service provides a complete range of advanced cancer treatment options, highly trained specialists and top-notch facilities.

The Cancer Center

Located on the campus of Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis, the cancer center offers:

  • A dedicated oncology pharmacy
  • An infusion room for 17 patients
  • A full-service radiation oncology department and supportive services team onsite, including an oncology social worker and oncology dietician.

We are looking for a team member with excellent communication skills and the ability to work cohesively with a team. Candidates with oncology experience in a community practice model is greatly preferred.
