Cape Cod Healthcare - Orleans Medical Building Development Plan

(Hyannis, MA – November 17, 2020) Cape Cod Healthcare recently submitted site plans [PDF] to the Town of Orleans for redevelopment of the Lobster Claw restaurant property located at 42 Route 6A in Orleans. The $5.6 million development project will establish a 6,500 square foot, multi-use medical building which will offer primary, specialty and urgent care services, with convenient on-site x-ray and lab drawing, for the lower and outer cape regions beginning in 2022.

“Increasing access to the best possible care for our community is a fundamental part of our mission,” said Michael Lauf, president and CEO of Cape Cod Healthcare. “The new medical building will provide patients from the lower Cape down to Provincetown with more convenient access to high quality patient care services. This modern medical facility will also help support our efforts to recruit new primary care physicians to Cape Cod.”

In September 2020, Cape Cod Healthcare announced the opening the John and Marjorie McGraw Medical Complex in Osterville, MA, a new facility providing primary care services. The Osterville location will also offer seasonal urgent care services beginning in spring 2021.
